Fire Safety

Year 2 had a visit from the fire brigade.  They learnt about how to keep themselves safe in case of a fire and to call 999 for the fire brigade.  They enjoyed sitting inside the fire engine and using the powerful fire hose.

Anti-Bullying Week 

Stoneydown celebrated anti-bullying week (14th - 18th Nov) in style by everyone wearing their odd socks to school! This reminded us that everyone in our community and the world is different in some way. In our assembly we talked about what bullying is and in class we learnt about how to be assertive and how to reach out for support when we need it.
