Teacher: Molly Hartshorn
We really enjoyed learning all about our bodies and how they work. We found out astonishing facts, identified key body parts and shared some fascinating homework projects.
We have already developed a variety of writing skills such as handwriting, punctuation and spelling. We used the Funnybones story to help us use our imaginations, develop our language skills and use exciting vocabulary to engage the reader. Now we can ask questions and we are experts at including adjectives and adverbs to make our writing more interesting.
Tower of London
We went on a trip to the Tower of London and found out lots of information about Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot. Our guide showed us around and helped us to understand more about what happened. We also found out about the animals that used to live at the Tower of London and we saw the beautiful Crown Jewels.

Multiplication is magnificent!
We explored equal groups, repeated addition and arrays to help us understand how to multiply.
We have become confident with using the column method to add and subtract. We have secured our place value understanding and investigated tens and ones. We have also applied our knowledge to using money and finding change.
We really enjoyed playing different games and developing our understanding of giving clear instructions.
