During our topic lessons, we learnt different ways of communicating non-verbally. These included our wonderful cave paintings which we made using chalk and some stamps we designed using potatoes.
As part of our whole school story, Jack and the Beanstalk, we took part in some great improvisational drama and performed our pieces to the class. We tried to get into character in order to think deeply about the thoughts and feelings of the characters in the story.
We enjoyed taking our learning outside. We used the playground floor to create 'part part whole' models, finding different ways to make multiples of a hundred.
We used our fantastic knowledge about light and reflective materials to create our own mirrors. We then tested them using a data logger to see which mirror reflected light best.
