We visited the Estorick Gallery to explore how movement is represented in art. We looked at the artwork and discussed how the artists showed action. We had a go at using simple lines to draw movements made by our partner and made our own pictures showing people and objects in motion - some examples include cars, flowers and even a drummer!



Our topic in Autumn 1 was Get Physical. Pipits put together and performed a piece about Jesse Owens' life, why exercise is good for us and how our bodies move. We learned a dance with Jo and impressed our audience (including our parents) with our amazing moves!







In Science, we wrote our own hypotheses on whether people with longer legs would jump further. We created an experiment and tested our hypothesis. We recorded our results and made bar charts to show them. We are super scientists!
